Returns Policy EU/EEA

Quick summary

  • Return window: 30 days from delivery for eligible items.
  • EU/EEA right of withdrawal: A statutory 14-day cooling-off period applies to EU/EEA customers, in addition to our 30-day policy (see Section 3).
  • Final sale (no returns): Clearance/Sale items (non-EU/EEA customers).
  • Hygiene exception: Thongs and Swim Thongs are not eligible for return. Underwear and swimwear with a removed, broken, or destroyed hygiene seal are not eligible for return or refund.

  • Refund method: Original payment method or Store Credit once inspected. Original shipping fees are non-refundable (except as required for valid EU/EEA withdrawals — see Section 3).

1) Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible items.
  • Items must be returned in resaleable condition: unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all tags attached and any hygiene seals intact, and in the original packaging.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions or that are received beyond the 30-day window.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, your statutory right of withdrawal (Section 3) applies in addition to the rights set out here.

2) Items that cannot be returned

  • Clearance/Sale items (including "Clearance", "Sale", "Outlet", or "Last Chance") are final sale and cannot be returned. For EU/EEA consumers, the statutory right of withdrawal (Section 3) still applies to these items unless another exception applies (e.g. a broken hygiene seal).
  • Thongs and Swim Thongs are not eligible for return due to hygiene reasons.
  • Underwear and swimwear whose hygiene seal has been removed, broken, or destroyed are not eligible for return or refund, for health and hygiene reasons. This applies to change-of-mind returns and to EU/EEA withdrawals once the item has been unsealed after delivery.
  • Digital products (e.g. downloads) and gift cards are final sale.

3) EU/EEA right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. This is a statutory right and applies in addition to our standard 30-day returns policy.

  • Withdrawal period: The 14 days run from the day you (or a person you nominate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in multiple shipments, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
  • How to withdraw: Tell us your decision before the 14 days expire, by a clear statement. The easiest way is via our withdrawal portal: Withdraw from contract. You may also email hello@teamm8.com or use the model withdrawal form at the end of this policy. Notifying us within the 14 days is enough — you do not need to have returned the goods yet.
  • Returning the goods: After notifying us, send the goods back without undue delay and within 14 days. You bear the direct cost of return shipping. Use a trackable service and keep your receipt; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
  • Refund: We will refund all payments received from you, including the standard outbound delivery cost (if you chose a more expensive delivery option, we refund only the standard rate). Refunds are made within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal, to your original payment method, at no extra cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of return, whichever is earlier.
  • Diminished value: You may handle the goods only as you would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. You may be liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond this.
  • When withdrawal does not apply: For health protection and hygiene reasons, sealed goods are not eligible once unsealed after delivery. This means underwear and swimwear with a removed, broken, or destroyed hygiene seal cannot be returned or refunded. Thongs and swim thongs are not eligible. Other statutory exceptions may also apply.

4) Faulty or incorrect items

If an item is faulty, damaged, or you received the wrong item/size, contact us within 30 days so we can help. Email hello@teamm8.com with your order number, a description, and clear photos. Remedies may include repair, replacement, Store Credit, or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.

5) How to start a return

  1. Initiate your return via our Returns Portal, or, to exercise your EU/EEA right of withdrawal, via the withdrawal portal.
  2. Pack items securely. Include your order number and ensure tags and hygiene seals remain intact.
  3. Use a trackable shipping service and keep your receipt. We're not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility for change-of-mind and withdrawal returns, unless we confirm a prepaid label.

6) Refunds & processing times

  • Once your return is delivered and passes inspection, we'll process a refund to your original payment method. Please allow 3–10 business days for your bank or card issuer to post the credit.
  • For change-of-mind returns, original shipping, duties, and taxes are generally non-refundable.
  • For valid EU/EEA withdrawals (Section 3), we refund the item price and the standard outbound delivery cost as required by law, within 14 days of being informed.

7) Exchanges

To ensure you get the item/size you want, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item for a refund once approved. If you prefer a direct exchange (subject to stock), contact hello@teamm8.com.

8) Promotions & gifts

  • Gift with purchase (GWP): If returning items causes your order to fall below a qualifying threshold, the gift must be returned unused/unopened; otherwise, its value may be deducted from your refund.
  • Discount codes: Refunds reflect the price actually paid (after discounts).
